A Wedding Story

Eric and I celebrated our big day in October of 2009. We were married in the Catholic Church by our beloved pastor Monsignor Reynolds, who has since passed away.  We had several other clergy witness the special day. Two hundred family and friends from all over the United States came to Atlanta for the weekend where we celebrated for about five or so days!

The week began with a ladies lunch and pedicures, while the boys did a private beer tasting with food pairing party.  We had the most delicious rehearsal dinner that included martini flights.  Our wedding was in the evening and a late night reception followed at a historic house in Norcross, Ga.  Dinner, dancing and ice cream sundaes were enjoyed by all.

The next morning Eric and I were sent off on our honeymoon by family and out of town friends at a catered brunch.  Eric and I scooted off to the airport where we (unknowingly) missed our flight. So we spent the rest of the day in the airport waiting for our new flight, but visiting with friends as they waited for their flights back home.  Our week in California was nothing short of romantic.  We had such a joyful week.

Re-live the magic!

(trade "tissues" for engagement ring. I had *really* wanted him to propose but didn't want to jinx it by writing it. Also, I later found out he had bought my ring just hours before this story)

A week into wedding planning and I had so much already done!

By the three month mark we were cranking out the plans!
